From the string quartet and distorted guitars in “Van Gogh Blue” to the haunting violin in the melancholy “Josephine Baker’s House” to the tenor sax/trumpet duet in the Miles Davis tribute “Kinda Cool” . . . “Undeniable” delivers a new sound for the modern cabaret. Retro Metro’s second album takes their sound a few steps further into pop music but still maintains the lush, elaborately orchestrated mood of “Gauguin Women.”

Retro Metro is made up of three of Hollywood’s busiest musicians. Scooter Pietsch has written music for hundreds of film and television projects. He also has a thriving concert music career under the name H.E. Pietsch. Scooter writes and produces the music of Retro Metro.

Bobbi Page contributes the lush vocal sound of Retro Metro. She has been featured on many, many film and television soundtracks including Pocahontas, Good Will Hunting, Boxing Helena and Armageddon.

Listeners may recognize Sid's name, he was a member of Dan Hicks & The Hot Licks and recently has been one of the first call violinists in Hollywood's highly competitive studio circuit. Sid has been featured on many of Mark Isham's film scores as well as on pop records from Prince, Michael Jackson, Harry Connick Jr. and Richard Thompson.

Retro Metro’s first album, “Gauguin Women”, is also available on CD Baby.
