Morghande is one of Northern California's best Celtic bands featuring Irish flute, Irish bouzouki, guitar, fiddle, concertina and bodhran. The band's name, Morghande, is a modified form of a Gaelic word meaning "the little one who comes from the edge of the sea." Morghande performs traditional as well as contemporary Irish tunes with wonderfully melodic guitar and bouzouki arrangements often supported by beautiful flute solo and string ensemble arrangements.

"The tradition of fine north state fiddling continues . . . Isabel O’Neill Seekatz shows her worth . . ."

"By the strength of playing, the rocky coast ofIreland doesn’t seem so far away . . ."

Redding Searchlight - January 2006
