Jon Moon is a writer and performer of a variety of musical styles. Brought up through Blues, Rock and Punk, Jon played with a number of bands including Spongzester, Enigma, PP, The Shrinking Men and House Special. During this period, he focused on electronic music utilising a number of rhythmic styles from Africa, South America and the West Indies. The bands played festivals, pubs, and clubs, undertaking national tours.

Jon has been working with more experimentalist modes of music creation and recording in recent times to produce a variety of sounds with a distinctive style running through them. His post-modernist work is punctuated by deep layers of rhythm and instrumentation that create a number of moods - ever changing and subtly intertwining to create a unique musical experience. Part of you is an album resulting from this experimentalist and post-modernist era.
