Having found his first guitar in a garbage container at the age of 7, Swedish singer/guitarist J.C. Schutz has browsed through many styles of music over the years.
Now, aged 28, he's released his first album PASSION on his own label Acousticolour Records. The 13-song album has been received very well in Sweden and Japan, and apart from a number of in-depth articles about him and his music in Swedish press, he has been performing live several times on the Swedish Radio.
The songs on PASSION are all originals, written by Schutz, ranging from catchy melodic samba to dreamy romantic bossa nova. JC's sensual voice is backed by guitars, accordion, piano, acoustic bass, drums & percussion, plus vibraphone, flute and strings appearing only in a few songs each. It's varied and accomplished but easy-listened at the same time.
