If Sublime, 311, & Green Day came together to form a giant robot to destroy all of the shitty music in the world, it would be called "BALLYHOO!". All the bad music would crumble by the hand of the meolodic Funky-Reggae/Rock grooves & menacing percussion. Buildings would collapse by the quake-like bass lines. Women everywhere would fall to their kness in an orgasmic haze from the powerful, but sweet, vocal melodies....Yeah, something like that....

Their first full-length album, "365-Day Weekend", released in October 2000 on Hooligan! Records, has sold thousands of copies, receiving rave-reviews from fans and critics alike.

In 2001, Ballyhoo! opened the HFStival, an annual stadium event with 60,000 people in attnedance in Washington D.C. Also on the bill that year were national acts such as Green Day, Staind, Incubus, and Sum 41. Since then, the guys have shared the stage with Reel Big Fish, The Tossers, and more.
Ballyhoo!'s song "Longshot" was chosen for a compilation CD by 98 ROCK Baltimore called, "Noise in the Basement". There were about 20,000 copies pressed and distributed throughout the Baltimore/Washington area. The song also held strong in the top 5 Rock category at Garageband.com for over a year. The track, “Last Breath” was released on the Philly station, WMMR’s Local Shots Vol 1 in December of 2005.

In 2006, their cover of Sublime’s “40 Oz. To Freedom” will be released on the upcoming Sublime Tribute album called, “Forever Free”.

Other Tour Highlights include opening the Y100 FEZtival in 2004 with the Beastie Boys, Hoobastank, and more. A showcase at Toronto's annual North By Northeast Music Conference and The CHILL Festival in Bolton Valley, VT in February of ‘05, sponsored by Burton Snowboards.

Ballyhoo! is currently receiving airplay on several Mid-Atlantic commercial radio stations. Y100 FM in Philadelphia nominated the band for Best Unsigned of 2004 in their end of the year poll. And the best part is, they’ve done it all without the use of “Guy-Liner” or pseudo-intellectual Emo glasses!

Their 2nd full-length album, “Do It For The Money!” is out NOW! 15 tracks of “Whiteboy Reggae/Rock” jams that’ll keep ya groovin’ all night long. The band will be supporting the new record in 2006 with a heavy tour schedule throughout the U.S.
