Singer/Songwriter Johnny Prill, from Bad Axe, Michigan has just released a new CD titled "The Polka Beat." Johnny has been writing and singing Polka music for over thirty years and is well known for his originality. He wrote all eleven songs on the new CD and hopes Polka Fans everywhere will enjoy its lively unique sound.
Johnny has been writing songs for over thirty years. He has been fortunate enough to have many of his songs recorded by various artists. Bobby Vinton has recorded five of Johnny's songs and released a single containing two of his songs titled "Polka Radio" and "The Birthday Wish." "Polka Radio" also appears on Bobby's "Greatest Polka Hits Of All Time" CD. The Misty Blues Orchestra, John Jeski, and Alvin Styczynski have also recorded songs written by Johnny.
The new CD features 11 high-energy Polkas all written by Johnny including "A Song For Grandma And Grandpa," the official song of National Grandparents Day. The Polka Beat also contains the popular children songs "The Big Bird Chair" and "The Birthday Wish." Track #8, "Las Vegas," was given a 5-star rating in the Las Vegas weekly!!
