Figli di Madre Ignota is a band from Milano who plays Maccaroni Swing, Approximate Rumbas, Possesed Polkas, Invented-from-nothing Klezmer wearing Pardo-Fez.
We like retro' atmosphere, swing and rumba songs, as we like balcanic music, klezmer and TV tunes with a lot of brass inside. We put it all in a melting pot mixing with surf, ska, and rocksteady.
We're born from an insane passion for bachelor music, everything about grind from the 50's, vintage sounds, exotica and lounge.
