Ziryab Trio was founded to give a deeper expression to Oriental Art music and its various genres. The members of Ziryab, who are also members of the acclaimed ensemble Bustan Abraham, believe that y maintaining the rich Oriental tradition they will establish an important basis for creating new and original music. The ensemble in its instrumental make up is the basis nucleus of any Middle Eastern classical music ensemble (Takht), which usualy includes five instruments: oud, violin, riqq, qanoun & ney.
Ziryab Trio concentrates on performing Arab and Turkish music from the 19th & 20th century.
