A holy community of Jews has gathered annually since April 2000 in the high mountain desert of Prescott, Arizona for the Lev Shalom/URJ Jewish Meditation Kallah. Together we seek the "still, small voice" of God's presence through meditation, chant, study, silence, and song. This CD contains a number of the melodies sung at these gatherings. The songs are recorded as they are heard at the Kallah, accompanied only by a single acoustic guitar. Some of this music is contemplative, some of it is ecstatic, but all of it comes from the heart.
