BigS&T is one of the pioneers in hip hop coming straight out of Barbados yes Barbados in the Caribbean.
The group comprises of Trezay (rapper) and BigShawn( producer) and represents the hiphop crew known as Poundas with other members Whizurd and Pudgee .
The group has been together from early 94, it started as friends who just sat and talked about the bold plans of making records and doing the music they have always loved and been fans of.
The group has been on the "come up" in the Island and has gain respect for doing a form of music that is not viewed as mainstream where they reside.
But how ever the love for music or an art form has nothing to with where u are from music is universal and it definitely shows with the work of bigS&T.
In this day and age of heavy trends in hiphop/rap music the group feels that it is important to do music the way they feel about it and choosing to do what ever form and style they are feeling at the time and keeping the music honest, hence the independent approach was perfect for them.
The group also agrees that there is room for all forms of the music and will continue to embrace it all.
