"Alive In San Gregorio" is an incredible collection of live music from a magic little place tucked away on the coast 30 miles or so south of San Francisco.
The San Gregorio General Store is "home" to a wide range of musicians performing original, traditional and contemporary music styles including folk, celtic, blues, bluegrass, pop and everything in between. The Store is one of those rare places where magic happens -- some of this magic has been digitally recorded and professionally mastered on two CDs.
Listening to the "Alive in San Gregorio" collection, you will be taken through an experience of old and new styles by people from as far away as Belfast and as close as San Francisco. Mostly acoustic, but laced with electric band backing on some tracks, you will enjoy some traditional Irish and American folk covers as well as many originals of the progressive sounds from the California coast.
All proceeds for this CD are donated to the Coastside Habitat Coalition, dedicated to the protection and preservation of the San Mateo Coast wildlife and wild creatures between San Francisco and Santa Cruz. Your donations are very much appreciated.
