chinese composer mr zheng bing is famous for modernizing national music. in 1992 he was honored "the best composer of traditional music" in taiwan. mr zhu xiao-sheng is noteworthy as a soloist in erhu performance. their reknown piece, the first erhu concerto , won the honorary award of american international new music composition contest in the united states. this beautifully recorded and packaged 2cd set includes that piece and 4 others and is a must for the world fan or chinese/asian culture enthusiast
