Andrest, Berk, and Goss......... Sounds like a law firm, doesn't it? But, ABG is actually a trio of gifted musicians thinking outside the box. The instrumental trio handles everything from Jamband Jazz to Dreamy Ambient to Bluesy Rock creations, ABG will delight those who are looking for something a bit different.

ABG's first CD, Cyber Jam, is a collection of tracks that work on so many different levels, from the Ambient stylings of Sunday Afternoon to the progressive rock feel of Mule. Steve Andrest handles guitars & keys, Danny Berk-drums & percussion, and Greg Goss-basses, keys, & noises.

The story of ABG started in the fall of 2002 when 2 musicians, Steve Andrest in Oklahoma & Greg Goss in Maryland started collaborating on some music via the internet. The first colaboration being Cyberjam, the title track for this album. The shared respect for each other's music sparked the experimental and informal idea of trading MP3's over the internet. Each of them would add ideas to the tracks until the track would evolve into a finished"song". The MP3's were layered (like a cake) to create original music.. It was in the Fall of 2002 that Danny Berk, a resident of Connecticut first heard the layered works. He was so inspired that he asked if he could play along. With the addition of Danny Berk the result was many lively tracks, full of interaction that could not have been predicted given the nature of the recording sessions. Each member was free to add whatever they were inspired to add to the music. Many musicians and critics have asked the question, "Were you all in the same room?" This is a real band that exists simultaneously in three states, connected through cyberspace and the love of music.

Put on this cd, kick back and enjoy as ABG tickles your inner ear with groovalicious sonic delights. This music speaks for itself! Enjoy!
