'NOMENCLATURE: STORMS IN TIME' is the creation of multi-talented New York artist Bilian Frost (vocals, bass, guitars, percussion and programming) with Ron Schecher (keyboards and vocals), and additional backing from Gerard Young (backing vocals) and D. Douglas Danahy (guitar and guitar synth) on selected tracks.

Bilian (pronounced as "billion"), has been working in clubs, studios, and on stage for over a decade. Starting ten years of rock and jazz drumming lesson at the young age of five, Bilian eventually moved on to melodic instruments & additional training in voice and experimental recording techniques. While continuing to write and record his songs, Bilian mixed live sound for local bands and spent four years working as a rehearsal/recording studio manager, further developing his skills and earning him local respect.

Exposing thousands of people to the finest industrial, electronic and darkwave music, Bilian's DJ and musical talents have been featured at many of New York's premiere clubs and venues including CBGB's Gallery, Pyramid & Detour to name only a few. Along with his numerous DJ gigs, Bilian has also created a history of interesting musical projects and performances such as fronting the torture-tech band Christ Cage, in addition to his current 'Carved Insane: Pain Junkie' and 'Nomenclature: Storms In Time' projects, and is widely known for his dynamic musical prowess, intense stage presence, and imaginative writing and imagery. His diverse music influences ranging from industrial rock to classical further explains his strong focus on musical architecture and the raw, unyielding expression he presents in his music.

Bilian is currently performing as the live drummer for Dark Vision Media recording artist I, Parasite and is involved with the promotion of his debut CD's, 'Carved Insane: Pain Junkie' and 'Nomenclature: Storms In Time', as well as continued production of several future releases.

PRESS REVIEWS FOR 'NOMENCLATURE: STORMS IN TIME'...

"'NOMENCLATURE: STORMS IN TIME' (IS) THE BEST NEW GOTH (PROJECT) TO COME OUT OF LONG ISLAND SINCE, WELL...EVER. ALTHOUGH BILIAN WAS MOSTLY KNOWN AS AN INDUSTRIAL DJ, AND THIS CD DOES HAVE SOME HEAVY ELECTRONIC ELEMENTS, IT IS DEFINITELY MORE GOTHIC IN FEEL AND TEXTURE. INCREDIBLY, 'NOMENCLATURE: STORMS IN TIME' IS SELF-RECORDED AND PRODUCED. WHEN YOU HEAR THE PRODUCTION VALUE, YOU'LL SEE HOW BIG A DEAL THAT IS. THE SONGS, WHILE NOT BEING ESPECIALLY AGGRESSIVE, ARE VERY MOODY AND DRAMATIC. THE MANIPULATION OF BILIAN'S VOCALS CREATES AN EERIE EFFECT THAT LENDS A LOT TO THE SOUND. MUSICALLY, THE SONGS VARY FROM ALMOST AMBIENT, SUCH AS 'ONE DAY', TO SLOW, DRIVING BEATS, SUCH AS 'IN THE DARK'...OVERALL, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND 'NOMENCLATURE: STORMS IN TIME' FOR PEOPLE INTO GOTHIC AND SLOWER INDUSTRIAL / ELECTRONICA." -
(ED JOHNSON- THE INSIDE CONNECTION MAGAZINE, JAN. 2001)

"'NOMENCLATURE: STORMS IN TIME' IS A VERY EXPERIMENTAL GOTHIC ARRANGEMENT FEATURING HAUNTING RHYTHMS, CHILLING HARMONIES, POSSESSED VOCALS AND OTHER DISTURBING SOUNDS ACCOMPANIED BY ADDICTIVE DANCE BEATS THAT LURE THE LISTENER INTO ITS NIGHTMARISH WORLD...A REVOLUTIONARY ALBUM THAT BLENDS GOTHIC ROCK WITH TECHNO/DANCE MUSIC...A VERY UNIQUE AND ORIGINAL STYLE THAT IS AS EERIE AS IT IS EXCITING. IT HAS A DARKNESS THAT ADDS A DRAMATIC EDGE TO IT'S MELODIC AND HYPNOTIC SOUND...A TIGHT MUSICAL PRODUCTION THAT IS JAMMED WITH MYTHICAL HARMONIES, EMOTIONAL LYRICS, LURCHING RHYTHMS AND CHILLING MELODIES..." - (DON SILL, GOOD TIMES MAGAZINE ISSUE #798)

"A DARK ROCK PROJECT BASED IN LONG ISLAND, COMPOSED PRIMARILY OF BILIAN FROST AND RON SCHECHER (FORMERLY OF 'BELL, BOOK AND CANDLE'). NOMENCLATURE: STORMS IN TIME' BLENDS ETHEREAL / DARKWAVE ELEMENTS WITH MORE TRADITIONAL ROCK STYLINGS TO CREATE SONGS WHICH HAVE A HIGH DEGREE OF EMOTION AND DEPTH, NOT TO MENTION PLENTY OF MELODIC HOOKS TO PULL LISTENERS IN AND KEEP THEM WALLOWING IN THE MAELSTROM, ENJOYING EVERY MOMENT SPENT THERE... THE PROCESSING AND LAYERING OF THE VOCALS GIVE THEM AN AIRY, OTHERWORLDLY QUALITY, WHICH COMPLEMENTS WELL THE MOROSE DREAMSCAPE PAINTED UNDERNEATH VIA SYNTHESIZERS AND GUITARS...THE PRESENCE OF DRIVING PERCUSSION ALSO ENSURES WAKEFULNESS AMIDST ALL OF THIS ATMOSPHERE, AND IN A FEW TRACKS, SUCH AS IN THE DARK, THE OCCASIONAL BUZZ-SAW GUITAR RIFFING IS THROWN IN FOR ADDED DRAMATIC EFFECT AT APPROPRIATE MOMENTS... 'NOMENCLATURE: STORMS IN TIME' CRANKS OUT PLENTY OF BEAUTIFUL MELODIES, BUT ALSO DEMONSTRATES...HOW TO PACK QUITE A PUNCH AT THE SAME TIME... ANYONE SEEKING A CHANGE OF PACE IN THE WORLD OF ETHEREAL GOTH / ROCK REALLY SHOULD GIVE 'NOMENCLATURE: STORMS IN TIME' A LISTEN..." - (RAT BASTARD, LEGENDS MAGAZINE)
