Whether it's a single resonating note from an acoustic guitar or the full-tilt crunch of the entire band, Almost Speechless keeps the listener entranced in the musical moment and leaves them in anticipation for the next. Almost Speechless takes the lyrically honest, the melodically inspired, and the electrically driven in the vain of celebrated artists such as Counting Crows, Third Eye Blind, early Radiohead, Pete Yorn, Matchbox 20, and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and molds them all into their own brand of rock and roll.
Almost Speechless formed during the late 1990s, with members hailing from various parts of Western Massachusetts. They have taken their rock and roll show to points all over this great U.S. of A. From the northern reaches of New Hampshire to the southern depths of Tennessee, the band has also found itself sharing the stage with an eclectic mix of great recording artists. Those musicians include The Smithereens, Local H, Big Wreck, Strangefolk, Addison Groove Project, Chris Barron of the Spin Doctors, and most recently the internationally renowned Irish rock-and-rollers The Saw Doctors.
The band also enjoys a valuable relationship with the Anheuser-Busch family, as Almost Speechless has entered into their second year as members of the Budweiser True Music Live Series. This distinction gives Almost Speechless the promotional and marketing tools needed to gain new and larger audiences. Whether through radio, newsprint, or the Internet, Budweiser has helped the band to better incorporate their brand of "true-music" into an already immediately engaging live experience.
