Having just released his ELVIS TRIBUTE Album-"One Night With You" recorded with the amazing JORDANAIRES in NASHVILLE, under the independent record label "TRIUMPH"
(The Jordanaires gained their greatest notoriety working with Elvis Presley for over fifteen years on his recordings, movies, television and stage performances. In addition to performing with Elvis, the Jordanaires have recorded with more major musical stars than any other vocal group in the world and continue to tour worldwide.)
Jim has reached a professional high, putting 25 songs on the CD against all advice. "Recording with the JORDANAIRS was fantastic, they are a great bunch of guys! words can not express the experience, I love em all"
. Previous CD's include a Christmas, and a Gospel. Jim plans on recording an all original country album. Future plans also include a second Gospel album which will include original songs, as well as a number of Traditional songs.
Through his performances, Jim quickly realized that it was more than just the music that makes the entertainer . . .
it's the person behind the music that makes a performance/song special. Coming through his music, one can feel Jim's desire to make people feel special, to entertain their troubles away and to reach beyond the stage.
Now a 20 year veteran of the prestigious Pasadena Police Department,(Pasadena Texas) Jim has worked a variety of assignments. Jim presently serves as Detective on the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force ( United States Marshall Service) where his duties include tracking and apprehending dangerous fugitives. Always striving to be the best he can be.
It was never Jim Dilley's boyhood dream to grow up and become a singer, but as fate would have it that is where he has found himself. Planning on letting things with his singing career to continue to happen as the time is right Jim will simply continue to do what he loves . . . make music for the rest of us to enjoy!
