This is the long-awaited missing cd from the Jay-Ray & Gee doo-wop collection! This cd is a must-have because it represents the musical background of it's producer Jerome Alexander who performs with all three of his a'capella groups over a span of some years (read liner notes for details).

After the New Orleans Levies broke -following hurricane Katrina, the master recording for this cd was destroyed. However, thanks to a loyal fan (Anthony King of Virginia) a new master of this cd was made from his (pristine condition) copy and is now available to doo-wop fans world-wide who have been requesting it since it's disappearance!

Jay-Ray & Gee evacuated to the city of Houston, Texas in the wake of the 2005 Katrina event, but founder Jerome Alexander has made it back home to New Orleans to plant the seed for the group's return to the sacred ground of music.

As usual, there is a gumbo of song selections from: "Hey Pocky Way" (a New Orleans Mardi Gras Indian Chant song made an international favorite by Art Neville and the Meters, to a group original a'capella ballad written by Jerome Alexander entitled: "You Clowned On Me, Girl."

Please give this cd a listen. There's a song on it for everyone!
