One of Western North Carolina's preeminent multimedia artisans and new recording artist, Dan Reiser's debut album, Fallen Angels, represents the convergence of a long and productive career in both the natural and musical arts, with influences that can truly be described as eclectic.

"The lyrics to the title track heavily imply that aliens are actually fallen angels who've been sent here to take over the Earth - and who have even kidnapped our narrator on multiple occasions." - Steve Shanafelt, Mountain Xpress
"It could be argued that Dan Reiser's debut recording, Fallen Angels, is an allegorical expression of his life experience, real and surreal, personal and artistic. Already an accomplished and acclaimed artisan in such natural media as paint, clay, wood and stone, music has been an integral part of his creative life force since he discovered the car radio as an admittedly underachieving high school student in Miami, FL, circa 1961. Since then the natural artist and the more ethereal musical artist have coexisted in the same body and mind, in much the same way the stars of a binary star system coexist - Two entities that seemingly exist as one. Like the stars, whose orbital velocities prevent them from literally becoming one and whose gravitational forces compel their pairing, Mr Reiser's binary art system affects a similar dynamic between its core components: the natural and musical arts. An interesting phenomenon of the astronomical duality, and of Mr Reiser too I think, is that when seen from a distance they appear as a singular entity wobbling about its axis. I'm grateful for the wobble that exists in the artist Dan Reiser because of its positive effect on his creations, rendering the whole greater than the sum of its parts surely, but also imbuing each with another dimension, one that can only be described as sublime."
"So, on and on these disparate, but essentially similar systems go, appearing to the casual observer to wander and wobble through time and space, but having an often profound influence on those same observers. And so it is with Dan and his art. A word of caution: The closer we pass to, and the longer we linger in, the proximity of these forces of nature, the greater their influence..." - Charles May, DanElectroid.com
