Brian Kasperitis was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and presently lives in Kingwood, Texas with his wife Robin and their two children: Megan & Dillon.

Mr. Kasperitis began working as a professional musician at an early age. By age 18, he had already toured with many popular music acts such as Chubby Checker & The BoxTops! Later, he worked as orchestra section leader for shows such as "Oliver!" and eventually landed a Hollywood recording contract for assorted movies including "Popeye" which starred Robin Williams.

Mr. Kasperitis' formal education includes an AA degree as an Instrumentalist, a BS in Music Education, a BS in Elementary Education, and a MEd in Educational Leadership.

Brian Kasperitis has served on the faculty of North Harris/ Montgomery College, The Texas Education Agency, as well as several public school districts in the state of Texas. Presently, he and his wife operate their own school in Kingwood, Texas.

After being voted "Outstanding Young Man in America," for two consecutive years, he was later appointed "Artist in Residency" to the Texas Commission on the Arts by George W. Bush.

Adaptable for audiences of all ages, "The Mr. K Show," his self-esteem musical/ motivational workshop is ever-growing. His first of four published books, Grandad's Old Tuba, has recently been featured at the Texas Bluebonnet Festival for children. Most recently, Mr. Kasperitis' research on home schooling has been published and presented at several educational conferences and conventions.
