Singer/songwriter, Douglas Wood, has teamed up with acclaimed producer Marc Dold (Peter Gabriel, En Vogue, Cyndi Lauper, etc.) as well as Judith Martin and Christian Neeser to create a unique combination of pop vocals and rock/funk rhythms on the upcoming album, Broken. Douglas' sharp lyrics and 4-octave vocal delivery, simmer over haunting, evocative rhythms and riffs and have been featured in Billboard Magazine, Music Connection, World Reporter, Gay Chicago, Urban Film Premiere On-line magazine and many others.

As a composer, Wood crafts his tunes with a unique blend of intelligent lyrics and infectious hooks, whether in a high energy dance tune or a soulful ballad. Gay Chicago Magazine called his music "provocative and exceptionally literate. . . unique expressions of the human psyche. . . brilliant." Douglas is a three time JPF songwriting finalist.

The guitars crunch. The voice soars. The lyrics mean something. At once humorous and contemplative, unabashedly political and deeply confessional, Douglas Wood's music fuses intellect, passion and free-wheeling fun.

Douglas lives in Los Angeles with his partner and their son.
