Wiki Waki Woo is pleased to announce that we are Nominees for the Hawaii Music Awards, People's Choice, in 2002! Ceremonies take place April 6, 2003. Thanks for listening to us on Internet Radio Hawaii!

"Listen to us live on Internet Radio Station IRH Hawaii www.hotspotshawaii.com/irhpages/irhlive.html"
This musical group recreates....with humor and love....the Hawaii of the thirties and the forties, when it was every mainlander's dream to sail to Hawaii, sit under a palm tree in the perpetual moonlight, be serenaded by a handsome Hawaiian (with no questions about his real ethnic background) whild a lovely hula maiden admonished him to 'Keep your eyes on the hands.' She would of course, be wearing a grass or cellophane skirt, and nobody cared if her costume, or the dance, was authentic or not. It was romantic! It was fun! Corn? Of course. But authentic assence of an era corn."

Wiki Waki Woo's founding members have been performing professionally in Hawaii since 1982. From 1985-1990, P.J. Galarneau filled in on Bass, until Bud relocated to Oahu from Kaua'i, where the band originated. Their music is enjoyed by tourists and kamaaina's alike; live, recorded, and over the television and radio airwaves.

"Geez, you folks are having such fun giving everyone the sound of music we enjoyed so much back in the 1950's and 60's at all the Waikiki joints. We're still smiling. I feel like I'm back at the old Queen Surf laughing to the Sterling Mossman Show and all those guys.
Keep up the good work."
