born in 1956 a few miles from liverpool this u.k. based singer/songwriter started writing songs at the age of ten!
although his songs were never strictly folk he spent much time gaining experience appearing in folk clubs in his early twenties and his first single -"street singer" was cut at the age of twenty two. a couple of years later he went full time professional as a guitaist/vocalist performing in many parts of the u.k. as well as working a lot in norway. his main influences are paul simon, don mclean, & the beatles. he no longer performs in public but recently became involved in songwriting & recording again. "long roads and memories" is a selection of eight songs (mostly written recently).
the songs are mostly of a gentle nature and are about love, lost love, nostalgia & memories. andrew says he hopes you enjoy it and another album is on it`s way!
