This was the highly acclaimed second release from San Francisco based Singer/Songwriter, Amy Meyers.
The Wheel is very much like a show, completed only after the last note of the last song, Opus 105, an original solo classical piano piece.
Leading up to that finale, The Wheel spins the listener through a variety of different styles and genres including Folk Ballads, Acoustic Rock, Piano Ballads, Musical Theatre, and Instumental Piano.
The production is rich with sounds, including horns, woodwinds, and strings.
A must for fans of Kate Bush, Patti Smith, Elton John, Joni Mitchell, Tori Amos and musical theatre.
