Allison Lee is a singer-songwriter born and raised on the island of Jamaica who came to Miami a few years ago with the goal of finishing college. As luck would have it, while hanging out in South Beach she met producer, Robb Boldt, who signed her after hearing an early demo of songs she had recorded in Jamaica. The results of the recording sessions with Robb, are an eclectic collection of songs which are now available as limited edition 10 track album at CD Baby.
Allison's music is ripped straight from the heart. She writes beautiful piano driven melodies that speak of love, heartache & personal struggle. Her influences are broad, reflecting her multicultural background as a Chinese-Jamaican. She expresses a desire to continue to grow artistically absorbing everything from jazz, classical, hip-hop to reggae and distilling it into her own personal sound.
