Joshua Golden's music provides a healing soundtrack to the anxieties of modern living. His comforting blend of smooth urban folk and thoughtful acoustic pop evokes the sweet maturity of James Taylor, the stylistic warmth of Jackson Browne, and the aural architecture of David Gray. Joshua's lyrics tell stories about hope, frustration, memories, restlessness, and love, with an emotional integrity that avoids sentimentality and cynicism.
Joshua's sophomore release, "Sweet Demand," showcases his assured sense of craft as well as an array of other talents: acoustic guitar, alto saxophone, keyboards, percussion, and production. The album features radio-ready pop songs "Back to Life" and "Hero", and the introspective "In Disguise", which is currently in production for a music video by Atlanta-based production company Labor Films.
The album is currently being promoted in the Atlanta area with a series of live performances by the six-piece Joshua Golden Band.
