Anthill emerged onto the Vancouver music scene with its self titled debut album in 1998. With heavy guitars and angst filled lyrics Anthill received regular airplay on several Canadian rock radio stations. Several years and nervous breakdowns later Anthill has followed up with "Ascending". It has the melodies 90's, British Pop and the punch of rock and roll guitars. This record captures the energy from Anthill live shows. The tunes are simple Power Pop with imaginativeme guitar riffs and pleading vocals. Anthill is set to release a 6 song EP in 2006.
