David Courtney is an internationally renowned record producer and composer who has worked with some of the legendary names in music such as: Roger Daltrey, Roger Chapman, Dave Gilmore, Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, Ritchie Blackmore and Steve Cropper to name but a few and was also the man behind the success of international recording artist Leo Sayer. "First Day" recorded and released in 1974 was Courtney's debut album and was co produced with Andrew Powell producer of Kate Bush and Alan Parsons Project.The album was recorded at the famous Abbey Road Studios and Air London Studios and was engineered by Beatles engineer Geoff Emerick The album features several well known musicians including Pink Floyd guitarist Dave Gilmore.
