For the first time ever in the United States, this CD contains Paul Evans' original 50s and 60s recordings, "Seven Little Girls (Sitting in the Back Seat)," "Midnight Special," "Happy-Go-Lucky Me," and "Hello, This Is Joannie" (1977) - plus his original song demos of "Roses Are Red (My Love)," a month-long number 1 recording for Bobby Vinton and "When," which went to number 5 on the Billboard charts with the Kalin Twins in 1958.

The CD also contains the most-requested music from Paul's albums and previously unreleased material, including a one-on-one interview with Paul, conducted by "History of Rock 'n' Roll" host, Gary Theroux. The booklet has pertinent career information on Paul, a note from Dick Clark, and the lyrics to the title song, "I Was a Part of the 50's".
