Born in Cleveland, twisted in Florida and deposited in Boston, this singer/songwriter plays a variation on the classic rock'n'roll model. Honest songwriting, sincere performance and total lack of professionalism mark this somewhat off character.
He's released a couple cds and been included on the compilation "Can You Read This Boston?" on Big Girl Records. He's received radio play on a few college stations.
His love of 50s/60s rock'n'roll and the sparkle of glam rock really shows on this latest album. Combining the clarity of digital 16-track recording and the warmth of analog 4-track, the 18 tracks bob and weave through styles and moods.
Mercy James... Just another guy trying to play music and hold down a steady job. Just another guy acting out his most primal impulse... to make music. Just a realistic songwriter in an unbelievable world. Rock on.
