Steve Fisher, Jay Pierstorff & Gary Nusz, have been playing guitar, singing and performing for years. They have been in dozens of different bands, and played many musical styles. They have come together for their first album, Fisher Pierstorff & Nusz.
After hearing Steve & Jay play through a few Everly Brothers tunes, Jay's wife suggested they record an album featuring some of their favorites. They contacted their favorite bass player Gary, and here is the result!
Over the years, they have played with many country, oldies and cover groups. Between them they have backed up Wolfman Jack, and Little Anthony, as well as opening shows for Jan & Dean, The Shirelles, Rick Nelson, Tower of Power, Del Shannon, The Righteous Brothers and more. They have been regular performers at Reno, Nevada's Hot August Nights Celebration.
