What a great debut album! Sacramento CA proudly presents Boyz Nite Out!! The Boyz have an enviable combination of harmony, great voices, polished pop styling and sophisticated arrangements, and they do it all without instruments. The percussion is all done with the human voice and is produced by Grammy award winner J. Andrew Selby. The songs include a driving cover of Seal's "Crazy," John Lennon's "Imagine" and a rich rendition of "Everybody Wants to Rule the World." The group also offers many originals. Their suggested single is the wailing ballad "Baby Doll," with both an a cappella and an instrumental mix (the only place where instruments are used). We also like the Top 40 styling of "I Wanna Be Your Baby Tonight," although the wonderful, spiritual message on "Love Wins Out" could make that a popular anthem among gospel vocal groups. The Boyz have their own sound, the original tunes become just as familiar in just a few listenings because of the memorable melodies. If you are familiar with Rockapella or just love great Pop with Jazz sensibilities this is the CD for you.

Boyz Nite Out has won many awards, including Sacramento Magazines "Best Vocal Group" the San Francisco Harmony Sweepstakes winners and has an extensive Radio Commercial resume that includes original jingles written specifically for the Sacramento Kings, Frontier Telecommunications and Alaska Cruise Lines as well as many others.
