I have been involved with music all of my life. When I was a teenager my friends and I would stand on the corner and sing doo wop songs. I was signed to a contract and made several recordings. One of our recordings was a song I wrote that became somewhat of a hit. It was called Have You For My Own, and we called outselves the Go-Betweens.

I was doing many things at that time, including playing serious baseball--something I continue to do today. However, I never stopped playing gigs, writing music and recording. Finally I decided to put together an album of some of my favorite recordings. Someone suggested that I call it Americana, because the music has the sounds that are typical of American pop music.

Included in the album are two songs that I was lucky enough to record with the great Jordonaires. I still get amazed when I hear myself singing along with them.

If you enjoy traditional American pop music, perhaps you'll like my album.
