The second CD of the Etudes for piano was conceived in a different mood from the first: a preparation to the orchestration.
A wider degree of freedom was offered to the pianist for this adaptation. Those who have acquired the first CD may verify the effects of an unrestricted creativity.
The composer
A music enthusiast since his teenage, musician to the depths of his soul, trained to the guitar and then to the bass-guitar, he founded his first group at the age of 13. Later on, as a dentist student and pursuing his musical practice, he carried out a profound inner search.
Since summer 1974 a thorough work of creative exploration begins: he records day by day all his improvisations on organ and synths. These "first sketches" are the very expression of the steps of his search.
The interpreter
He gained his first international prize when he was 22, and divides his carrier between teaching and concerts.He worked in close collaboration with the composer for the adaptation to the piano and interpretation of these Etudes, which he now performs in concerts.
Created by Alain Amouyal (AEva) and his friends of the Société de la Cordée in 1987. Conceived from the beginning as a platform for research and creation, built and equipped with a great demand in precision and consistency, it is the privileged place for the development of the musician's research.
