EUGENE FRIESEN
is the Grammy Award-winning cellist and composer of the Paul Winter Consort. Eugene's innovative use of the cello in non-classical music has been featured in solo and ensemble concerts all over the world. He has worked with such artists as Toots Thielemans, Oscar Castro-Neves, Betty Buckley, Philip Aaberg, Darol Anger and Will Ackerman. Eugene is an artist in residence at The Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City, and is on the faculty of the Berklee College of Music in Boston.
