Dan David, songwriter/violinist extraordinaire, started the violin at age 6, by choice. Dan has developed perfect pitch since an early age and was later accept to the McGill faculty of music, on full scholarship.
While classicaly trained, Dan has (in his late teens) discovered his hidden gift for songwriting and began writing new songs where the violin is the voice of the music, and where he expanded the boundaries of the violin by combining a rock, pop and folk feel to most of the songs, all which have a unique message to express.
Dan started writing songs as a higher need of expression and has developped a unique new style of playing and writing
Some of Dan's songs are being picked up by popular singers and artists that sell out large concert halls, as well as licensed for movie soundtracks, and even method books use and license the music of Dan David (a new CD is coming in the summer of 2006)
The music on The Right Place is truly enjoyable, whether you are listening to it with your loved one (s) or listening while driving on the roads, or meditating, or even while working in the home office, it enrichers your every moment with original and light hearted, up beat songs.
