Violent Downfall emerged from the Ontario music scene in 1996 and has since generated an immense following in the Ontario and Western New York region. After selling over 1000 of their debut split CD "ISSUES" in 1998, over 1500 of their second indy release, "Violent D" in 2000, and over 2000 and still selling their third independent self titled EP, Violent Downfall have started to create and record music for their long awaited full length independent release.
Violent Downfall's unique style of music has been categorized in the heavier side of the metal/rap scene and has been compared to bands as diverse as Rage against the Machine, Helmet, Sevendust, and Downset. Violent Downfall bring a new level of aggression to the scene, creating a platform to vent their political, social and religious frustrations. Violent Downfall dare to combine intense vocals over hard-driving pounding rhythms to create a sound that can only be described as...raw emotion. Violent Downfall has created a reputation for bringing intensity to the stage and a good vibe off of it.
