Well, it all started when I was just barely walking. I remember dancing and thrashing about to my dad's hi-fi. Music has always been a part of my life and always will be. I began taking piano lessons at the age of 8 and later picked up the guitar. I've always loved to write music.

I never had much luck in bands so I decided to get a computer and see what would happen on my own. I began to write and found that my music included different styles. Some New Age, Classical, and of course my favorite, Heavy Metal. I began to experiment with different instruments such as harps, violas, and reed instruments. It all worked together very nicely. I discovered that all music, no matter what it is, is related (except maybe country). I came up with the name "InstruMetal" to describe it because it is instrumental and each song flows from one style to another. Some songs are just plain heavy and some are not so heavy. Some are both.
