Clint Carney - vocals/electronics

Formed: 2002

Multifaceted musician Clint Carney (best known as the mastermind behind System Syn and the live keyboardist for Imperative Reaction) formed FAKE in 2002 as an outlet for his more aggressive, experimental side. He recently received critical acclaim for the System Syn album "Premeditated", released in June 2004 on Sector 9 Studios (U.S.) and Out Of Line (Europe). However, rather than rest on his laurels and enjoy the ever-growing success of his first project, he decided instead to team up with the up-and-coming Static Sky Records and complete "Los Angeles Synthetic" (street date: December 7th), his second album to be released in one year!

'Los Angeles Synthetic' showcases dark melodies, distorted rhythms, harsh vocal deliveries, and lyrics that are either socially/politically motivated or just plain cruel. The music itself is rooted primarily in Dark Electro and Industrial, although there remain a few dance floor-friendly tracks, as well. As a whole, "Los Angeles Synthetic" has an epic, majestic feel to it...a direct result of one man's frustration with the current state of the world. Fans of System Syn and dark electronic music in general will not be disappointed.

Clint is currently putting the finishing touches on the next System Syn album, and even already has some more FAKE tracks in the works. A truly hard-working artist, Clint is a man to keep an eye out for in the near future!
