Hailing from Plymouth, P.A., these young musicians are up to some serious rock. The lead singer, Shaun Collins, started the band a year ago after introducing some lyrics and music he had written to some fellow musicians. They began practicing after school and they all loved the vibe, so HYMNS OF THE WICKED (H.O.W.) was formed.
The style of music H.O.W. plays has been described as hard rock/metal. The members of the band have found musical influence in bands like Linkin' Park, Marilyn Manson, Korn and Mudvayne. So far H.O.W. has played shows at clubs and parties in the Philadelphia area and participated in local 'battle of the bands'.
Hymns of the Wicked finished recording 13 tracks for their debut album entitled "Never See The Sun Again" in November of 2005. Songs like "Run Away", "Souless" and "Never See The Sun Again", deliver Shaun's refreshing song writing talent and musicianship. The band has been fortunate enough to find a young talented manager, Raymond Mclean, a Jamaican songwriter and artist, to invest, produce and advise them as they journey into the music world.
