Grimlore was founded in 1999 and from the beginning they began composing original material consisting then of only instrumentals but setting the foundation for the Grimlore of today. In 2002 Grimlore began composing material for their first self released CD entitled Memoirs of Delusion which was released in October of 2002. Grimlore promoted Memoirs and did receive a mention in Metal Maniacs Magazine (Firing Squad) in the August 2003 issue. In March of 2003 Grimlore began recording a follow up to Memoirs another self released CD entitled Endless Days which was released in September of 2003. With the release of Endless Days Grimlore was the focus of an article in a local newspaper. The article appeared in the Tri-City Record Issue #37 September 11,2003. The article focused mainly on the intricacies of Grimlore's music on Endless Days. Currently Grimlore is promoting Endless Days and working on material for an EP which should be released in early 2004. Grimlore will also be doing a full-length follow up to Endless Days, which should be completed by the end of 2004.
