Bert No Ernie is one-man bass and vocals band somewhere between punk and jazz. Bert No Ernie is just Jim Osmer. These songs are compositions not improvised solos and are heavily influenced by Nomeansno, Victim's Family and the Minutemen. Also like such unlikely influences as Tool, Marcus Miller, Johnny Cash and Nick Cave.

IBUPROFEN & GRAHAM CRACKERS was the 3rd Bert No Ernie CD and was released in 2002. There are no bass overdubs on this CD.

Listen to an homage to all ages club shut down ("Too Punk for the Coffeehouse") forcing me to play quieter places. Also an eerie a capella eulogy "Topsoil".

If you like this CD, please listen to my other 4 all for sale on CD Baby.
