THE STORY BEHIND THE SONG, "BABY ANGEL"
When Amy found out her son was autistic, she drowned herself in desperate disbelief. Then a friend told her a beautiful story about an angel sent to earth as an autistic child to enjoy his final visit. That story etched into Amy's subconscious surfacing during difficult times. One night of the many, she woke to the horrible cries of her son. While trying desperetly to get him back to sleep, she started making up this song and singing it to him. Four hours a night gradually turned into a few minutes. And then a beautiful thing happened - her son (in his wispery voice) started singing the song back.

On Earth he's labeled Autistic, misplaced in special ed.
But he's placed in a world that's been surely misled.
And as I have watched him at his young age, I see an angel without his wings.

AMY'S BIOGRAPHY
Amy Ames is a music producer, a recording artist, a songwriter, a teacher, the mother of an autistic son and the mother of a beautiful, talented daughter who just signed with Robinson Entertainment in Los Angeles.
Amy grew up in Duluth, Minnesota where she graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota, Duluth. She has post grad hours from both the University of TX and the University of MN.
Amy currently is recording her third cd, producing her daughter's cd, writing songs, teaching and writing for various magazines and web sites.
Amy's songs have been featured in magazines, radio stations, newspapers and books in Canada, New Zealand, USA and England.
