Celtic harper Jo Morrison is nationally known for her evocative interpretation of Scottish and Irish music on the harp. She has performed locally at locations such as the Smithsonian and Strathmore Hall and as far away as the Anam Cara Art Centre in Ireland. Her knowledge and understanding of the Celtic genre puts her in great demand as performer and teacher across the country. Described by music critic Pamela Murray Winters as having "the freshness and grace that first gave Celtic music its power," Jo's music has been captured on her four recordings, ranging from solo harp favorites (By Request) to a multi-instrumental showcase of the music of Scotland (A Waulking Tour of Scotland.) Jo also frequently performs in the harp/shuttle pipe duo Port Righ. You can read more about her at http://www.Triharpskel.com.
