BIOGRAPHY
Aubrey Holman is a 29-year-old singer/songwriter/guitarist from the Heart of the Delta, Greenville, Mississippi. He began playing guitar at the age of thirteen, and started his professional career only two years later.

At age 21, he began songwriting. His debut album, Long Dark Trip was released in 1999.His much anticipated sophomore album, Getting Used to the Light, was released in the winter of 2005.

Aubrey's songwriting style is a unique blend of rock, alternative, soul and folk music. He takes his inspiration from ordinary people, movies, and life in general. Numerous comparisons have been made to David Gray, Dave Matthews, Kelly Joe Phelps, Keller Williams, James Taylor, and The Allman Brothers, just to name a few. Favorite musicians of Aubrey's include Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Bob Dylan, Ron Etheridge, Widespread Panic, Keller Williams, Grateful Dead, Kelly Joe Phelps, Gavin DeGraw, Amos Lee, Jack Johnson, and Son Volt. Holman's song, "Liquid Melancholy", won an honorable mention in the Billboard Songwriting Competition. Other honors include winning Third Place in the Colgate Country Showdown in Cleveland, Mississippi in 2002, and the Grand Prize in the Greenville, Mississippi Balloon Festival Battle of the Bands in 2003. As a Firefighter for the City of Greenville, Aubrey puts out fires for a living....but, watch out.... his phenomenal acoustic performances are sure to start fires!!!!
