a note from Country Joe McDonald:
"Annie and the Vets have made a delightful and unique first album. The spirit and content and performances on this CD make it a wonderful entertainment package. It is unique today to find a musical product that is both politically right on and musically entertaining."

and Jim Hightower:
"Was that terrific! I just love George's song there."
speaking of "Connecticut Yankee" in Palo Alto, CA August, 2004, when Annie and the Vets opened for him.

Listen to the words on this CD....
Annie and the Vets - Consists of members of Veterans for Peace. "We, having dutifully served our nation, do hereby affirm our greater responsibility to serve the cause of world peace."

Performers:
George Johnson - US Navy, Vietnam, 1962-66
Phil Pflager - US Air Force, 1961-65 (incl. Vietnam)
Anne Pflager - Veterans Supporter

The cover song, "Touch A Name On the Wall," by Joel Mabus, touches Vietnam veterans very deeply. Whenever Annie and the Vets perform, they get a strong reaction to this song, and requests for a recording of it. So, by popular demand, here is the CD.

Some other songs are fun, and most will make you think.

Proceeds from sales of this CD are going to Veterans for Peace. Yes, peace is possible.
