Alex Sutton plays acoustic guitar and sings original songs, which, if it had to be described by one word, is "rootsy". With an eye firmly on "tradition" and the vast heritage of acoustic guitar players the planet is blessed with, he is always trying to develop something fresh and exciting. In performance, he strives to make a full sound utilising guitar parts containing two or three lines including percussion techniques, amplified feet that further propel the music forward, in addition to his voice. Many of the songs have a bluesy feel, however they are never without a touch of humour.
