Introducing, ELECTROSTATIC the first release from bmd from NYC-based Slipgroove Records. Begun in 1999 with the intention of creating smooth cool, electro-ambient sounds, bmd is the brainchild of digital artist marcb. Using his 15 years of experience with music, marcb has created an aural equivalent to his visual art. The songs on ELECTROSTATIC incorporate a variety of instruments, recording techniques and original samples to let the listener into bmd?s world.
?I hope to let the listener into the music, taking time out from the world at large?, says marcb. ?The songs are very personal, whether it is a reaction and response musically to the environment around me, or to the untimely passing of those close to me?.
