COZY consists of coproducers/musicians DJD and DJT. They play a mix of live drums, samplers, guitars, V-drums, violin, keys, effects and vocals to create the livewire dynamic that is COZY.
Recorded live, over the course of multiple sessions in 2004-2005, COZY's latest eponymous release forges electronic music not just from turntables and sequences, but from synths and drumheads, human hands and sample pads. Live menageries of beats, vocals and washes commingle with frets and swinging sticks in a style that can only be classified as COZY.
The creative energies of COZY don't stop with the music. COZY creates and hand-manufactures its CDs and packaging in limited quantities. COZY seeks to reintroduce the lost value of owning CDs by ingraining individuality and soul into every hand silkscreened, organically produced piece of COZY recorded art. Each CD is unique, produced in numbered batches by COZY.
