Brian Tarquin & Chris Ingram of ASPHALT JUNGLE won the EMMY in the category of "Outstanding Achievement in Music Direction And Composition For a Drama Series"

Joining anarchic guitar rock with big beat electronics, Asphalt Jungle's sound can be likened to the Chemical Brothers, with an eclecticism reminiscent of Moby (albeit a Moby who listened to heavy metal instead of punk). With a palpable reliance on Brian Tarquin's formidable guitar riffs, Asphalt Jungle have a careening sound all their own.

Keyboard Magazine calls 'Electro Ave.' "intense, guitar driven electronica-fast and funky beats, an in your face mix, rapid-fire sample slices, loops made out of screaming metal guitar riffs".

Guitarist Magazine says 'Electro Ave.' "is fantastic & brave with an innovative flair of guitar ingenuity that is reminiscent of Jeff Beck".

Long time partners, Tarquin & Ingram have written music for MTV's 1998/1999 television show "Road Rules," as well as producing music for many other TV shows including the "X-Files" & ABC's "Making The Band". Inspired by the early 90's London Acid Jazz & British Electronica Revolution, Tarquin & Ingram scored a top 20 hit (Billboard) with, "This Is Acid Jazz; The Best Of Acid Jazz Vol. 2". Separately, Tarquin, an accomplished & revered guitar virtuoso (see any major guitar publication), has released three successful solo albums on Instinct Records. Ingram, a successful television & film music producer, has scored Letterman's The Late Show, CSI, The Price Is Right, General Hospital, even Bloodsport IV (sweet!!!) to name a few.
From AMG:
"There are lots of genuinely compelling tracks here, though, among them the clubby "Wha Da Ding," the funky-crunchy "Last Crusader," and two complementary mixes of "Witchcraft," one of them a nicely brutal deconstruction overseen by DJ Soul Slinger and DJ Wally. Other highlights include an exhilarating and vaguely jazzy drum'n'bass workout entitled "Kato" and a funky chill-out selection called "Distant Heart." Recommended. - Rick Anderson
