The suns have passed over their cave many times, but their day has finally come. Their newest and first professionally produced project is ripe and definately innovative. Hip Hop Congress refers to it as, "the soundtrack to your most beautiful nightmare experienced." The project pulls together over 25 spiritually connected artists including members from Subcontents/EIM/Executive Lounge, Parallax, CLX2, Epic Paradox, Soundboy Killing, Nomadic Mind Travelers, EMESTEE, Phaderheads, Montags Dust, and Dying to Live. It pulls together the unknown kin they have met throughout the years of an underground life style. San Francisco, San Jose, Oakland, New York, Long Island, Argentina, and even Germany is up on this disk.
The production is composed by teao and his extensive colletion of world instruments played live... mandolin, classical guitar, middle-eastern flute, balaphone, kalimba, didgeridoo, and many others. It is a 78 minute journey, which is blended together from start to finish full with lyrical tracks, instrumentals, live performances, and freestyles. The first half is a bit more up-tempo for daytime listening, and the second is that deep meditative blend of blood sweat and tears that will definately take you there.
Prescription: Nightime. Most effective if used when in an open-minded, relaxed state.
